W.A. Nottingham, P.E., CEO

Bill has over 30 years experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection design.  He received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971.  After a tour of duty with the U.S. Army, Bill joined the firm in late 1973 as an HVAC Engineer.  He received his Georgia Professional Engineers license in 1980 as a Mechanical Engineer, is also registered in Alabama, and is an active member of ASHRE and ACEC.  Through the years, Bill’s duties at NBP have included computer and software development, head of HVAC and Mechanical departments and he currently leads the firm as CEO and Chairman of the Board. 

Neil S. Wyche, P.E., LEED AP, COO

Neil received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1976 and joined NBP in 1985.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, Florida and North Carolina, a current member of ASHRAE and GAPPA and a LEED Accredited Professional.  Neil has an extensive background in surveying and evaluating problems associated with mechanical installations, developing project scope and budget, preparing plans and specifications for corrective measures, and upgrading equipment and systems.  

James A. Kasulka, P.E.

While in school and for a short while after receiving his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1974, Jim worked in HVAC service.  This experience allows him to bring a hands-on knowledge to the design work. In 1976, he joined NBP as an HVAC Engineer. He has been a registered mechanical Professional Engineer in Georgia since 1981.  Jim has trained extensively in the field of HVAC acoustics and has worked extensively with duct design software which has helped him assimilate NBP's Duct Design manual.

Timothy W. Trotter, P.E., RCDD, LEED AP

After receiving his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1996, Tim joined NBP.  Tim is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of BICSI and is registered Professional Engineer in Georgia and Alabama.  Over the years he has proven his talent and ability to meet the needs of clients and users.  Tim has a firm grasp on the current goals of the firm while keeping an eye on the future.

Susan H. Day, P.E.

Susan received her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1988 and Master of Science Electrical Engineering in 1990 from Auburn University.  She joined NBP in 1999 and heads the Dothan, Alabama office.  Susan is a registered Professional Engineer in both Georgia and Alabama.  She is a highly proficient project manager with a history of successful project completions.

Kevin M. Smith, P.E., CTS, LEED AP

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Mercer University in 1996.  After serving four years in the US Army, Kevin joined NBP early 2001.  He possesses a combination of technical proficiency and leadership excellence that allows him to manage a wide variety of tasks. He is a Certified Technology Specialist, a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia and LEED Accredited Professional.
